Slovenia has one of the highest shares of women in the military in NATO, at 16.7%, the Defence Ministry said.
The share of women in the Armed Forces has been one of the highest among NATO members in the past decade. In terms of missions abroad, the representation of women has varied between 7% and 11% in the past decade.
