First-Rate Political Corruption – Up To 7.7 Million Euros In Just Two Days!

How is it possible that the government decided to purchase the building intended for court services on Litijska Street on the 28th of December, the purchase contract between the Ministry of Justice and the seller, Sebastjan Vežnaver’s company, was signed on the same day, and the purchase price of 7.7 million euros was paid the very next day?

The Minister of Justice, Dominika Švarc Pipan, is coming up with more and more excuses every day about her not being responsible for the purchase of the more than obviously overpaid building intended for courts on Litijska Street in Ljubljana. All her arguments that the building was bought in good faith, that they were deceived and that they would try to annul the contract do not absolve her of political responsibility for signing a damaging deal, and it is increasingly being revealed that they did so knowingly. And that is why she should resign immediately.

This time, we would like to draw your attention to one more detail, namely the extremely short deadlines between the government’s decision to include the purchase of the building in the Development Programme Plan, the signing of the contract, and the transfer of the purchase price. The government, at a correspondence meeting on the 28th of December, the very day the contract was also signed, included the building in the current Development Programme Plan 2023-2026. The next day, the money was already wired to the seller.

The company of the coastal entrepreneur Sebastjan Vežnaver received the purchase price of 7.7 million euros on the 29th of December already, which means that someone here was very strongly committed to fast-tracking the deal. And there is no doubt that this would not have happened if it had not been for the strong interests of the Minister herself, or even of the Prime Minister. It is not normal practice for the state to transfer money so quickly, because it is known as a “bad payer.”

Did Tina Gaber make the deal?

The backgrounds and acquaintances of the actors in this corrupt deal are also increasingly being revealed. Sebastjan Vežnaver is a good friend of Rajko Hrvatič, and starlets, including Tina Gaber – the Prime Minister’s current partner – have regularly been seen in his circle. As the New Slovenia party (Nova Slovenija – NSi) MP Aleksander Reberšek commented, Gaber seems to be mixed in practically everywhere, as if she is a spice mix known as Vegeta that can be used in a variety of dishes. “She is stopping ministers from behind the scenes, she is the first to know that when farmers’ livestock is being taken away, she is destroying Slovenian agriculture. But from the contribution we have seen, it is very clear that she is not only a protector of animals, but is also fighting for money, influence and her own interests.”

We will reveal more in future articles.
