Prime Minister Golob Has Removed His Daughter From The Position Of Director Of Star Solar

The new Director of the company Star Solar, an electrical company that is 100 percent owned by Prime Minister Robert Golob, is Miran Klanjšček, according to data from the Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Public Legal Records and Related Services (AJPES).

Since July last year, the director of Golob’s electrical company has been his barely adult daughter Luna, who – already during her directorship (last November) – made a name for herself by raising her middle finger up to a New Slovenia party (Nova Slovenija – NSi) billboard. Well, it was mainly through this that the public got to know her.

The records of the Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Public Legal Records and Related Services show that Klanjšček is originally from Kromberk near Nova Gorica. This is also the place where Robert Golob still has his permanent residence registered in a family house (Pod Škabrijelom).

However, records available on Gvin.com – a service for searching company information, balance sheets and other related data, show that Miran Klanjšček was the founder of the company Trine, d.o.o. and withdrew as a director of that company on the 13th of June 2023. However, he is still a co-owner of the said company. Trine is a company registered for tourism and entertainment services and is based in Neble (in the municipality of Dobrovo in Brda). Trine has received 1.67 million euros of taxpayers’ money so far, according to the application for the portrayal of the use of public money – Erar. Golob’s Star Solar company has so far received just under 2.15 million euros from the state budget (from the company Borzen, the electricity market operator).

The headquarters of the Star Solar company are still located on Delpinova Street in Nova Gorica, and the company also has an office on Korunova Street in Ljubljana (next to the church in Trnovo), where Golob now resides. Star Solar also still has two bank accounts: one in Slovenia and one in Italy. The company’s annual profit is around 100 thousand euros.

MP Mirjam Bon Klanjšček (previously a member of the Party of Alenka Bratušek – SAB) is also a member of the Freedom Movement party (Gibanje Svoboda) – the President of which is Golob, and she lives at the same address as Miran Klanjšček (Pri hrastu, Kromberk). The data shows that these are clearly interesting political and family connections. Bon Klanjšček also praised Golob publicly before last year’s elections.
