On Wednesday afternoon, a real drama took place at the main Maribor post office. The perpetrator went completely insane, insulted the postal employee and attacked the SDS MP Dejan Kaloh.
A man came to the post office, who was very upset at the post, as he found the post office service too expensive. This upset him to the point where he started shouting at the employee, insulting her, threatening her with death, and calling her names – and since that was not enough for him, he then also started insulting all Slovenians, saying that they (we) are all thieves, and repeatedly emphasised the words: “Damned Slovenians,” and “Slovenians are Gypsies.”
SDS MP Dejan Kaloh, who was standing in line behind the upset citizen, asked him to calm down. The perpetrator then also went after the deputy and even said that he would throw a bomb at the post office. After a police officer finally showed up 15 minutes later and interviewed the post office employee and MP Kaloh, the police announced after a few hours, unofficially, that the perpetrator had been arrested.
“While shouting, the person threatened the employee at the post office that he would kill her – and he said that several times. The lady was very frightened. I told him to stop threatening with murder. He attacked me in front of the post office and hit me on the back. The police have already tracked down the perpetrator K.D.,” Kaloh added on his Twitter profile.
