Another 2,313 people tested positive for coronavirus in Slovenia on Saturday as over 42% of the PCR tests came back positive.
Hospitalisations rose by nearly 50 from the day before to 797 with 184 being treated in intensive care. Eleven more Covid-19 patients died, bringing the total death toll to 5,149, data released by the government show. The National Institute of Public Health estimates there are now over 36,000 active cases in the country as the 14-day incidence per 100,000 rose to 1,707.
