“Registration for and vaccination are the only way out of the current difficult situation,” Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said referring to the coronavirus epidemic in a video posted on Facebook on Friday.
The Hungarian prime minister explained that they had spent less than 24 hours in Israel conducting important talks, but he would say “more about that later.” He went on to say that he could already see signs of a post-pandemic life resuming in the country: terraces and restaurants were opening, and economic life had begun.
The means by which this was achieved is with vaccines and vaccination. Registration for and inoculation are the only way out of the difficult situation, he added.
The prime minister highlighted, “the state of Israel is striving to be a world champion,” as the most vaccinated country against coronavirus in the world today.
“Hungary also wants to achieve a similarly prominent status within Europe,” but that has two prerequisites: obtaining supplies of vaccines, and citizens wanting to get out of this difficult situation. The latter is possible with registration and vaccination.
“This is what I learnt in Jerusalem,” Viktor Orban concluded.
