Has Commissioner Lenarčič Gone Mad? He Offered Help To An Enemy Of The EU!

“Following Iran’s request for assistance, we have activated the Copernicus programme to rapidly test the ground of the crash site of the helicopter carrying the President and Foreign Minister of Iran,” said the European Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Management, Janez Lenarčič, in response to the recent helicopter crash. Among others, Russia has also offered assistance to Iran.

A helicopter carrying the Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and East Azerbaijan Governor Malek Rahmati crashed on Sunday in the Iranian province of East Azerbaijan.

So far, the Iranian regime is only reporting that the helicopter made a “hard landing” and does not wish to speculate on the fate of its state representatives. The search operation is also reportedly hampered by bad weather. However, the European Union has offered to help in the search for the representatives of the terrorist regime, and the person who was especially active in offering help was the European Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Management from Slovenia, Janez Lenarčič.

Solidarity with terrorists

Judging by the reactions, Lenarčič’s move has shocked the public. “Solidarity with a dictatorial regime? Get real!” was just one of the many outraged comments. As is well known, Iran supports Hamas terrorism in Israel and arms Russia in the war in Ukraine, and the fact that the Iranian theocratic regime laundered almost 1 billion euros in the Slovenian NLB bank is still vivid in our memories.

Lenarčič’s aid will not make the oppressed Iranians, who are fighting for democracy, happy. Indeed, Iran is one of the main human rights violators of the current times. In the last month, the Iranian regime has hanged six women.

The European Union has once again made a sharp turn off the beaten track, which makes it all the more important for the elections on the 9th of June to bring about the necessary changes.
