The Trump administration has started to deliver on its promise to deport illegal migrants from the USA. In Los Angeles, raids by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) have led to major riots. Trump has therefore called on the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Defence to help quell the riots.
“I am directing Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and Attorney General Pam Bondi, in coordination with all other relevant Departments and Agencies, to take all such action necessary to liberate Los Angeles from the Migrant Invasion, and put an end to these Migrant riots. Order will be restored, the Illegals will be expelled, and Los Angeles will be set free. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” the US President wrote on Truth Social.
The US President wrote in his post that the measure will “liberate Los Angeles” and deport migrants residing in the USA illegally, Breitbart reports.
“A once great American City, Los Angeles, has been invaded and occupied by Illegal aliens and criminals. Now violent, insurrectionist mobs are swarming and attacking our Federal Agents to try and stop our deportation operations – but these lawless riots only strengthen our resolve,” Trump added.
The California National Guard is helping quell riots
On Sunday, we reported on the unrest in the city of millions. After the Trump administration began enforcing federal migration laws, far-left activists, along with illegal migrants and others, began to resist. Last week, on Friday, authorities already arrested more than 40 people. The President of the United States has therefore deployed two thousand members of the National Guard to Los Angeles.
The protests soon turned violent as protesters began attacking federal officials. Footage from the protests shows protesters throwing hard objects at officials, thugs looting stores, and cars on fire. Many of the protesters do not identify themselves as citizens of the US, as they wave Mexican flags.

Some of the protesters appear to be organised by the Los Angeles chapter of the Party for Socialism and Liberation, and they also appear to have support from the Democrats. Governor Gavin Newsome has even threatened that California will not pay federal taxes because of the activities of the federal authorities, and that the latest interventions in Los Angeles infringe on the sovereignty of the state.
