The campaign promoting diversity and the freedom to wear the hijab has sparked public outcry.
It was launched by the Council of Europe, with the European Union being one of the sponsors. Several politicians have condemned the campaign, arguing that it aims to undermine the values, roots and civilisation of Europe.
