Slovenian Industry Is Shrinking Dramatically!

Alarming news is coming from the Slovenian industry, while Prime Minister Robert Golob is relaxing on Greek beaches. Industrial production is down by as much as 4.3 percent this year. We can expect an even more dramatic deterioration by the end of the year. Someone who holds a key government position should limit their vacation time and roll up their sleeves.

In recent days, we have reported on yet another vacation taken by Prime Minister Robert Golob, this time, he is visiting Greece – namely, the island of Corfu. While he is enjoying himself carefree, problems are piling up in the country: the state of healthcare is deteriorating, the cost of living is rising, long-term care is in disarray, etc.

The Prime Minister would send the elderly to crematoriums

While Golob is publicly photographed with pensioners, in reality, he would prefer to euthanise them and send them to crematoriums. This would allow him to avoid the costs of palliative care. In addition, in June this year, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia (SURS) published alarming data on the state of the economy.

Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia: “The values of industrial production and sales revenue in the industry were slightly lower in June than in the previous month and lower than in the same month last year. They also fell in the first half of the year. The total value of industrial production in June was 0.1 percent lower than in the previous month. It fell by 12.2 percent in mining, while it rose by 0.4 percent in manufacturing and by 0.2 percent in electricity, gas, and steam supply.”

The value of industrial production fell by 4.3 percent

According to the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia, the value of industrial production fell by 4.3 percent compared to June last year. In terms of activities, electricity, gas, and steam supply fell by 18.9 percent, manufacturing by 2.4 percent, and mining by 0.5 percent.

The Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia also reports that in the first six months of this year, the value of industrial production was 1.7 percent lower than in the same period last year. It fell in manufacturing (by 1.8 percent), but rose in mining (by 4.8 percent) and in electricity, gas, and steam supply (by 0.1 percent), the office adds.
