The Slovenian Caritas sent the first shipment of humanitarian aid to Ukraine on Saturday.
26 pallets of medicines, food, water and hygiene products are intended mostly for the most vulnerable groups in Kyiv, while some food was also distributed to refugees in Transcarpathia. Until yesterday, the Christian charity also raised EUR 203,000 in financial aid, with part of the funds already transferred to the Caritas Ukraine. The second shipment is due next week.
