The March for Life will take place again this year – in Ljubljana, on the 7th of October at 9.30 a.m. under the motto “LIFE IS AWESOME”. On Monday, the 2nd of October, at noon, the organisers will give a press statement ahead of the March for Life 2023. The statement will be made in Congress Square, where there will be a silent performance in memory of the Slovenians who died in inhumane abortion procedures.
According to the National Institute of Public Health, the lives of at least 2,926 children were taken in Slovenian hospitals in 2021. To these, we must also add the children who lost their lives after the 10th week of pregnancy, in chemical abortions using abortifacient contraception, and in procedures involving biomedical treatment, which are not recorded in the national statistics. In Slovenia, more than 700,000 unborn children have been aborted since 1952. “This is unacceptable and deeply saddening,” the initiative says, adding that Slovenia has been forcibly deprived of many beautiful faces and talents who would have lived in our beautiful homeland today. The life of every child is precious and must be protected. Every child has the right to be born, and mothers and fathers have the full support of the state and society. And the state has a duty to help all mothers in need so that they can protect and give birth to their children.
“We cannot stand by and watch all these silent deaths that are happening every day in our cities, so we decided to come out of the silence and pay tribute to all these people. They are not forgotten,” they stress.
They will also defend the elderly
The March for Life initiative is also very concerned about the announcements on the legalisation of medical poisoning of the sick and elderly. Next to unborn children, these people are the most helpless and in need of help and love. This year’s March for Life will, therefore, also be a march for respect for the lives of the sick and elderly and AGAINST their medical poisoning. Therefore, all those who oppose the medical poisoning of the sick and the elderly are invited to come to the March for Life to show respect for the sick and the elderly.
The March for Life will take place again this year in Ljubljana under the motto “LIFE IS AWESOME”. You are invited to join us on Saturday, the 7th of October, at Prešeren Square at 9.30 a.m.
