At Monday’s 9th regular session, the Association for the Values of Slovenian Independence (Združenje za vrednote slovenske osamosvojitve – VSO) unanimously adopted an action plan in defence of Slovenia’s independence and its values, which the Government of the Republic of Slovenia has systematically tried to trample with the abolishment of the Museum of Slovenian Independence, despite the Association’s calls for reconsideration and dialogue. This is not just about the museum, but also about the denial of our independence. People see it, but they do not believe it.
The Association for the Values of Slovenian Independence will thus intensify its activities in the coming weeks – they will implement the following actions:
1. Establishing a coalition against the abolition of the Museum of Slovenian Independence and in defence of our independence.
2. A protest rally.
3. A symposium on the National Liberation Movement, the revolution and independence.
4. Call for an interpellation against the government.
5. Patriotic events.
6. Press conferences.
They call on all those who live the values of Slovenian independence to join them.
