The Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Janez Janša, is working with his European colleagues on coordinating one of the most important political documents in the history of the European Union.
In his tweet, he used several hashtags to illustrate that the document will deal with the fields of energy, defence, resilience, and will thus be the basis for greater strategic autonomy of the European Union, which is currently still largely dependent on energy from Russia and is also militarily divided.
The Ukrainian crisis has further exposed the European Union’s helplessness and vulnerability in key strategic areas, and it appears that this will change in the future. Details of the document that is currently being prepared will be made known shortly.
