“Slovenia is not just Ljubljana! In all the years of visiting beautiful places in Slovenia, we have never before seen such a large crowd of supporters gathered in one place. Thank you! Protesters from Ljubljana can drive to wherever they want. We can hardly wait for May when the elections will show us the truth,” said the Slovenian Democratic Party.
The Slovenian Democratic Party (SDS) has had 14 meetings of regional SDS coordinations throughout Slovenia in recent months, but the mainstream media were not present at any of these meetings. They only came to the meeting in Marezige, where about 100 protesters gathered, who were brought there from Ljubljana by bus. We saw several articles in the media about hundreds of protesters gathering in Marezige, while, at the same time, there were more residents of the Primorska (coastal) region gathered in the tent where the meeting took place than ever before, and not even a word about it was written in the media.
