This is a national political pathology that has a leftist pedigree,” psychoanalyst Roman Vodeb commented on the data that Slovenia has become first in the world in terms of the weekly average of new coronavirus infections.
On Saturday, the 6th of November, 5,451 PCR tests were performed in Slovenia, and 2,313 infections with the novel coronavirus were confirmed, the National Institute of Public Health announced. Namely, 42.2 percent of all performed tests were positive. According to the National Institute of Public Health, there are currently 36,032 active cases of infections in the country. The seven-day average of confirmed cases rose to 2,858, which was up for 92 from the day before, and the fourteen-day average of confirmed infections per 100,000 citizens is 1,707, or 38 more than the day before.
The latest data on the seven-day average puts Slovenia in first place in the world in terms of the number of infections. “Dear fellow citizens, we have just become first in the world in the weekly average of new infections. Not just in the EU, in the world!” Dr Sašo Dolenc, a Slovenian scientist, commented on the latest epidemiological data.
Instead of fighting the epidemic, they waged war against the government
