“Presstitution” at the State’s Expense: The New Face of the Left, Golob, Paid as Much as 103 Thousand Euros to Journalist Vuković

Recently, the web portal Požareport revealed an example of the new face of the left, Golob’s financing of journalists he likes, at the expense of the state. In this particular example, this concerns the journalist Vesna Vuković from the Necenzurirano (Uncensored) web portal, which is controlled by the waste and media tycoon Martin Odlazek. However, what many people don’t know, is that Vuković also founded a private company in the past, which she transferred to another person in 2019, and which was financed by Gen-I under the leadership of Robert Golob.

Investigative journalist Bojan Požar also revealed that this money was not used to pay for advertising or content published on the portal in question, for which the controversial journalist Vesna Vuković also writes. Namely, this was a matter of transferring financial resources through fictitious “advisory contracts” to the account of a privately owned company. And what is also important to note is that this company is not the published or owner of the web portal. It is also not a marketing agency, but a company, dedicated to business consulting. IT is known that the reporting of the journalist in question and the web portal she writes for is extremely favourable towards the latest new face of the left, Golob, who is also the payer in this case, and at the same time, the portal is extremely offensive to the payer’s competitors.

With the help of these connections, it is also easier to explain the surprising existence of the Uncensored web portal, which neither provides advertising space nor sells any of its content. Požar stated that the current Director-General of the Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia, Ivan Simić, who was a tax advisor and publicist at the time, wrote an article on the 3rd of September 2020 for the Škandal24 web portal, which the Uncensored web portal did not want to publish. In his article, Simić wondered about the role of SEE M. & C. d.o.o. company. As is known, it was founded by Vuković (who was also its director for a while), but then she transferred its ownership to Mitja Zorko, who is unknown to the general public. However, it is known that he lives in Celje, in the same neighbourhood as Primož Cirman, the editor and another journalist of the Uncensored web portal. With this, Požar wondered whether the whole thing was really just a coincidence or was there something else behind all of this.

What is particularly interesting is the fact that in 2019, the company generated 81,235.60 euros in net revenues and 80,778.94 euros in expenses. The tax payment was 86.60 euros, and the net profit was only 369.21 euros. Vuković’s company does not have any employees, which seems unusual, particularly because of its earnings. Požar concluded that someone is apparently issuing invoices as if they are an independent entrepreneur. However, he did wonder about the actual purpose of the company in question – is it perhaps billing its published texts? Požar believes that the case should be examined in more detail by the Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia, especially since business is conducted in a very similar manner in the Providentia d.o.o. company, which owns the aforementioned media outlet. In addition, the question also arises as to why the journalists are allowed to do something that others are not. But there is another interesting piece of information available.

Did the Chinese party abuse the Gorenje company to co-finance a covid campaign against the government, the National Institute of Public Health, and its director, Krek?
In order to allegedly erase the traces of Vuković, the disputed company was renamed from SEE M. & C., d.o.o., to KCA, d.o.o. during its short period of existence. And with all of the above, the indisputable truth comes to light – that this is an entity intended for private financing of Vuković and her anti-government activities. It is also known that it is being financially supported by specific individuals and companies, but what is particularly worrying is that state funds are being misused for this purpose. In relation to this, Požar also listed some entities and persons who are financing or have financed Vuković’s work – and one of them is also Robert Golob, through the state-owned Gen-I company, which paid 103 thousand euros to the company (at the time, Golob was the President of the Management Board; therefore, Požar will try to get the documentation related to this payment through the Information Commissioner).

Another person on the list of financiers of the company in question is Klemen Boštjančič, President of the Management Board of Sava, who paid Vuković’s company 34 thousand euros through his private company Brio svetovalni center d.o.o. (Brio advisory centre). He is also the main patron of the Z.Dej party, which used to be led by Jure Leben, but was later taken over by Golob, and Boštjančič wrote the programme for the party that renamed itself the Freedom Movement (Gibanje svoboda). It is also known that Vuković and the Uncensored web portal are mostly connected with the Sava state company and the York fund. The company Adventrua Investments, d.o.o., has paid Vuković’s company 73 thousand euros (this is a company owned by Darko Martin Klarič), and Gorenje Velenje paid the company 60 thousand euros (Gorenje is owned by the Chinese state-owned company Hisense, and it is a known fact that China’s covert funding for the Covid-19 media campaign has been happening in Europe, and in the last two years, the Uncensored web portal has been known for being constantly critical of the current government, the National Institute of Public Health, and its Director, Dr Milan Krek. Is there even some Chinese financial support in the background of this anti-government epidemiological campaign?).
