Absolutely Shocking: A Left-Wing Extremist Wants to Kill Prime Minister Janez Janša’s Family!

“We will slaughter her or behead the children with an axe so that they will not be the heirs of the state of Slovenia. Fuck you,” an extremist wrote in broken Slovene, in a threatening letter he sent to the Celje General Hospital, where the wife of Prime Minister Janez Janša, Urška Bačovnik Janša, is employed. If the extremists initially threatened Prime Minister Janša and his voters, it seems that their death threats have now escalated to a new level: his family members – even children. These are the consequences of the ignorant law enforcement authorities not taking the first attempts at threats seriously. In this case, we will monitor their work closely and with all seriousness.

An unknown perpetrator sent a threatening letter to the General Hospital in Celje. In the letter, he threatened the wife, Urška Bačovnik Janša, as well as the children of the Prime Minister Janez Janša with death by beheading and with the murder of the couple’s children.

One of the two pieces of paper that were in the envelope has the letter written on it, and the other is a confusing collage of photos and threats: the face of the SD party president Tanja Fajon, the Constitutional Arch Coalition, poultry slaughtering equipment, Janša’s family on holiday in the hills, and an axe.

So far, the death threats have mainly been addressed to Prime Minister Janša, especially on the protests and facades of Ljubljana and other buildings, along with all of the other insulting inscriptions. Among the most common ones were: “Death to Janša,” “Janša, sicko, die in agony,” “Death to Janšaism,” and so on.

Prime Minister Janša also responded to the letter on Twitter, writing: “Threats will not sway us. We will defend family, home and homeland. Nobody should doubt that. Remember 1991. And we will demand that those who sow hatred, call for death, and for a state in which psychopaths can imagine that they can (once again) kill without being punished for it, take responsibility.”
