Janša’s Easter Post With His Family

“Easter is a celebration of the triumph of life over death, a symbol of the triumph of light over darkness, a time when good conquers evil, and a time of infinite hope for man. I wish you a blessed Easter, dear friends, compatriots, brothers and sisters. Hallelujah,” wrote the President of the Slovenian Democratic Party (Slovenska demokratska stranka – SDS), Janez Janša, on the X network on the occasion of the biggest Christian holiday.

His wife, Urška, also wished her followers on X a happy Easter, writing: “Thank you for all the warm words and the joy we share together on this Easter. May faith, hope and love overcome the darkness, every day anew …”

Christians around the world celebrate Easter

On Sunday, Christians around the world celebrated Easter, the greatest Christian holiday, which commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Solemn Easter Masses and services were held in churches. In his traditional Urbi et orbi (to the city and the world) message on Sunday, Pope Francis called for freedom of religion and respect for the views of others, without which peace is impossible. “Without freedom of religion, freedom of thought, freedom of expression and respect for the opinions of others, there can be no peace,” said the Pope’s message, which was read out by his delegate, Cardinal Angelo Comastri, at the Vatican. Some 35,000 faithful Christians watched the message be read out live, in St Peter’s Square in the Vatican.

Prime Minister Golob cynically points to faith in man, not God!

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Robert Golob sees “Easter as a holiday that reminds us that even in the most challenging circumstances, we must never lose faith, especially faith in the power of man.” This is what he said, among other things, in his Easter message on Sunday. He described Easter, among other things, as a “birth”, which is actually true for Christmas. For it is in human dignity, responsibility and inner strength that the greatest strength of community lies, he added.

One cannot help but wonder whether Golob also sees himself as a deity, since he cynically emphasised faith in man, not God, on the greatest of Christian holidays.
