Tempers in Ireland are still running high after a migrant stabbed several people, including children, in Dublin recently. Shortly after the terrorist attack, a huge anti-immigration protest began, with riots breaking out in several places. Since then, residents in some towns and villages have formed teams to control th eincoming vehicles on their own authority, as the government continues to distribute thousands of migrants to rural settlements without the consent or knowledge of locals.
The latest scandal involves a Muslim councillor in Ireland, who demanded the execution of those involved in last Thursday’s violent Dublin riots.
„I strongly believe that this is not the face of Ireland. This is just some criminals looting the shops. I don’t think they follow any ideological purpose. They should get punishment. I’d like to see them shot in the head or bring the public in and beat them until they die,”
– said Councillor Azad Talukder, who is of Bangladeshi descent. „Not even an animal does these kind of thing (-sic). It is very shameful and they should get public punishment,” he added. However, he did not even mention the migrant who recently attacked children with a knife, as well as a woman who wanted to protect the schoolkids from the aggressive man. The councillors called for an immediate withdrawal of Talukder’s comments, who responded by saying that he was simply expressing his emotions in his speech.
