The Migrant Invasion Of Slovenia: More Than 50,000 Illegal Migrants Were Arrested By The End Of October

Slovenia is flooded with illegal migrants, asylum centres are full, crime is on the rise, and there have been several heinous rapes in the past weeks. By the 31st of October, 50,622 illegal border crossings had been processed. And these are only the migrants who have actually been apprehended by the police. Most of them are Pakistanis, Afghans and Moroccans. Compared to last year, when 24,662 people crossed our borders illegally, we are witnessing a sharp increase in these trends, which are made possible by Golob’s policy.

So far this year, 48,996 migrants who were caught have expressed their intention to apply for international protection, compared to 21,452 at the same time last year. Afghans, Moroccans and Pakistanis are also among the most likely to apply for protection. Despite the one-off increase in migration this year, only 235 illegal immigrants have been returned to foreign security authorities, compared to 2,193 at the same time last year.

The Ukrainian nationals were arrested and detained, and their vehicles seized.
