On Saturday night, four foreigners (supposedly migrants who had illegally entered Slovenia) allegedly beat a man and sexually assaulted a woman in an underpass on Vilharjeva Street near the Ljubljana train station. The police are also investigating the incident.
At the beginning of the week, our source told us that on Saturday night, a couple was attacked by four foreigners in the underpass connecting the railway station and Zelena jama. The man was brutally beaten, and the woman was allegedly sexually assaulted.

Earlier this week, we sent a question about this unofficial information to the Ljubljana police station, but they only replied on Thursday.
Namely, the Ljubljana Police Directorate has confirmed that they were informed of a sexual offence in the area of Bežigrad during the night from Saturday to Sunday. One person was lightly injured in the incident, and police officers are still verifying all the circumstances of the incident and continuing to collect information. “We are unable to provide further information due to the secondary victimisation of the victim and the interest of the investigation,” they replied.
It is also worth noting that at the beginning of September, we received unofficial information that a Slovenian police officer was injured by migrants while inspecting a train and had to seek help in hospital. This incident was not reported by the Slovenian police either. After publishing the information and making enquiries with the police, the incident was confirmed.
