The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has published data on the movement of gross domestic product (GDP) in member states, namely a comparison between the 3rd and 2nd quarters of 2022.
The review shows that Slovenia ranks second to last among the 29 OECD members. It was only worse in Latvia.
In the second quarter (July – September 2022), Slovenia had a negative economic growth of 1.4 percent. This is already the result of Robert Golob’s rule.
If it is as bad in the last quarter as it was in the third, Slovenia will technically already be in recession – there will be more bankruptcies, fewer jobs, higher interest rates, etc.
