In addition to the now-disgraced head of the Fotopub gallery, there is another prominent Fotopub artist on the Slovenian art scene – Olja Grbuić, who made a name for herself with an art installation – an exhibition of naked bodies in the Fotopub window. She is also known for simulating the sexual abuse of a dog with a tampon and for “masturbating” with a carrot and a grater (as part of her art show called “Golo življenje/Naked Life”), as well as for her naked ass being part of a street exhibition. Her oeuvre has an expectedly “refreshing” pornographic edge.
Far leftism brings moral, civilisational and national decay. It has a negative impact on family politics, security (deliberate impoverishment of the army, support for illegal migration), demography (encouraging the emigration of the educated), the economy (high taxes, stifling of entrepreneurship, nationalisation), the existence of the nation (shaming of national symbols, branding them fascist, and so on). It is also closely linked to sexual perversion packaged in art (simulating animal abuse, masturbating in public, and so on). Under its aegis, the destruction of renowned works of art is taking place. The latest example comes from London, where “climate activists” vandalised the work of Vincent van Gogh by spilling a can of tomato soup on it. Some time ago, they even performed similar acts of vandalism on statues of historical figures (Winston Churchill and others).
Nothing is sacred to them, but they declare almost anything to be art. They are no strangers to financial parasitism at the expense of hard-working and honest taxpayers. Nowhere in the world has far leftism brought “prosperity for all.” But it is an opportunity for those who cannot or do not want to succeed/prosper in the free market. In our country, too, there have been many such “heroes” since the war. They do not value private initiative and healthy creativity but instead only care about staying latched on the state budget. They often label the enterprising, the successful and the patriotic as “fascists.” Finally, the Fotopub affair opened up a public debate in this area, which is spilling over from the political into the cultural sphere. In this article, we will present another artist who belongs to this milieu to you – Olja Grubić.
One of her most notable achievements was the simulation of the sexual abuse of a dog. In one of her performances, she alluded to the insertion of a tampon into a dog’s vagina. This is the “progressive,” “woke” spirit. The whole thing is a bit reminiscent of the Baričević affair (where sexual abuse of bullmastiffs happened). “Wokeness” in this context is mainly understood as the deviant thrill or excitement of playing with a dog’s genitals… And God only knows what exactly is “progressive” about that. Is this the kind of “hard work” at our, the taxpayers’ expense, that the Minister of Culture from the ranks of the Left party (Levica), Asta Vrečko, was talking about?
Another highly educational performance of the artist was the simulation of “massaging the genitals” with graters and different types of vegetables, which happened as part of the art performance entitled “Golo življenje/Naked Life.” We should also mention her impressive exhibition of naked human bodies in the Fotopub’s window display in Ljubljana, on Tivolska street. Grubić works within the framework of VIA NEGATIVA, a Contemporary Performing Arts Association, which has already received more than one million and 300 thousand euros of our money. Whether it is worth that much is a question you can answer for yourself.
