The State Election Commission Has Hired Its First Public Relations Consultant: She Gained Her Work Experience in the LDS and Zares Parties

On the 1st of February, a new (first) public relations consultant at the State Election Commission took office. The person who will perform the duties of the said post is Tina Hrastnik.   

“With the aim of an up-to-date, timely and comprehensive informing of the public about the work of the State Election Commission and all innovations arising from our work tasks, we hired a public relations consultant, who begins her work on the 1st of February 2022,” the State Election Commission of the Republic of Slovenia announced on Tuesday.

After the start of her career, which happened in journalism, Tina Hrasntik began working in public relations as an assistant to the head of the public relations service in the National Assembly, and in 2005, she took over the work of public relations in the parliamentary group of the Liberal Democracy of Slovenia (LDS). Later, she had the same position in the Zares (Really) party, and now she will be informing the public about the work of the State Election Commission, the director of which is Dušan Vučko, a former MP of the aforementioned LDS party. In the years from 2008 to 2011, when the former president of the Zares party, Gregor Golobič, was the Minister of Higher Education, Hrastnik headed his cabinet.
