Friday Protesters Continue to Embarrass Themselves: This Is How They Desecrated Bled Island – the Symbol of Slovenia

“Greetings from the anti-fascist Bled,” the Friday protesters wrote on their Facebook page and announced another Friday’s protest in Ljubljana. Will last year’s story repeat itself – will the mainstream media pay more attention to them than the actual content of the Bled Strategic Forum with important discussions and record participation of foreign leaders of all political beliefs? We will see.

“The children of privileged parents are once again embarrassing themselves in Bled,” is what the headlines in the mainstream media should read today when they will report on the events at the 16th Bled Strategic Forum. And what would be even better is if they simply did not pay any attention to the protesters at all, as this overshadows the main content of the forum.

Friday protesters or “cultural workers” vandalised the building of the Ministry of Culture again on Tuesday, and the unofficial leader of the protests, Jaša Jenull, was among them. It should be pointed out that it took the police 20 minutes to arrive at the scene, which means that the safety of the employees of the ministry was seriously endangered.

And just how conflictual the leftists really are was perfectly demonstrated in the event that happened on Kredarica last week, where the leader of the Youth Plus Trade Union (Sindikat Mladi plus), Tea Jarc, who is also one of the informal leaders of the protests, verbally attacked Minister of the Interior Aleš Hojs and Prime Minister Janez Janša. She was unable to control her frustrations – even in the mountains, where special rules of conduct apply. Yes, Friday protesters are actually a bunch of uneducated youngsters, children of privileged parents, who have long since crossed the line of tasteful and permissible behaviour. What they are doing is downright appalling, but the good thing is that at least now the whole of Slovenia will see who is actually working for the welfare of our country and who is basically making fun of Slovenians with their actions.
